SARM Benefits Plan

 

This plan provides the following benefits to participating members:

  • Disability

  • Death

  • Maternity

  • Vision Care

  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment

Coverage is available for rural municipal employees and elected and appointed officials.

Currently, 295 rural municipalities participate in the Plan, with over 1,700 employees enrolled.  It is a self-insured, employer-funded plan that began in 1967.

Group Benefits Plans

SARM partnered with two outside underwriters to provide a variety of Group Benefits Plans to members.  Plans administered by SARM are:

  • Long-Term Disability Benefits
  • Health and Dental Benefits
  • Optional Life Insurance
