The Municipal Leaders' Roles and Responsibilities seminar is held by SARM in November prior to the SARM Midterm Convention. This seminar provides essential, current information to assist you in council procedures as well as your role as policy decision-makers, employers and community leaders.
The agenda changes each year, reflecting current issues in rural Saskatchewan. Each seminar will include a mock "council meeting," performed by various municipal leaders and Municipal Affairs staff, an address by SARM's President and Executive Director, and an address by a RMAA Board Member.
There is no fee for this seminar and there is no pre-registration required. For more information, please contact Teresa Edwards, Program Administrator, Municipal Leadership Development Program (MLDP) at 306.761.3725 or tedwards@sarm.ca
