Darryl is currently a Councillor for the RM of St. Andrews No. 287.

Darryl got his BA from the University of Saskatchewan in 1976. He and his wife, Laurie, currently operate a farm in the Rosetown area.

Darryl has been a councillor for the RM of St. Andrews No. 287 since 1991, and was elected to the SAMA Board in 2001 as a rural representative. In 2003 to 2004, he was the co-chair of the West Central Municipal Government. Darryl currently sits on the Provincial Doctor Recruitment Agency Board of Directors.

Darryl represents SARM on the following committees:
